Review of the processes for the material recovery of rubber waste

Summary

Rubber waste is a major source of waste, amounting to several hundred thousand tonnes a year in France. Given its high calorific value, energy recovery has always been a key component of waste management practices. But as environmental issues continue to evolve, where do we stand with regard to the possibilities for recovering this waste? This study has provided a snapshot of the sector in France and a detailed analysis of the material recovery processes available or under development in France and abroad.
