When an LCA is carried out, the phase of interpreting the results gives rise to reflection and debate. The results of an LCA take the form of various indicators of environmental impact that are not comparable with each other: greenhouse effect (kg of C02 equivalent), acidification (kg of H+ equivalent), etc. SCAN'ACTOR is a multi-criteria method designed to facilitate the interpretation and communication of LCA results.
The work carried out as part
of RECORD involved:
- presenting the state of progress of the Scan'Actor method to RECORD members,
- submitting a questionnaire to the RECORD tutors in order to check the
consistency of the basic hypotheses,
- modifying the basic parameters and certain methodological hypotheses in order
to make the method valid and operational in the RECORD context,
- testing the Scan'Actor method on an application case submitted by the RECORD tutors.
