Summary

This work involved :
- present the state of the art in LCA,
- list and describe the various existing LCA methods,
- compare the methodologies using a multi-criteria analysis based on the following families of criteria: scientific validity - feasibility - usability,
- define the research that should be carried out to improve the methodology and scope, and to minimise implementation costs.
